1.6. “Registration Fee” means the non-refundable or conditionally refundable fee charged for competition participation, as mentioned under Section 14.
1.7. “Publication Rights” mean the rights to use, display, distribute, and promote submitted works on our platforms.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By registering for any competition, making a submission, or using our website, you:

• Confirm that you have read and understood these Terms.

• Agree to be legally bound by them.

• Represent that you are at least 18 years old (or have parental consent if you are under 18).

If you access or use the Website on behalf of an organization or third party, you confirm that you are authorized to bind that entity to these Terms.

• Our print and online magazines,

• Promotional campaigns, advertisements, and events.

6.2. You retain ownership of your original work, but you grant us the right to display and use it for marketing, archival, and editorial purposes without any additional compensation.
6.3. Once a work is published or displayed by Hashtag Kalakar, the participant cannot demand its removal from our platforms or archives.
6.4. We reserve the right to edit, crop, or format submitted content for aesthetic or technical reasons without prior notice.

7. License to Use Participant Submissions

7.1. By submitting any content, you represent and warrant that:

• The submission is your original creation and does not infringe on any third-party rights.

• You have full rights and permissions to grant us a license for publication and use.

• The content is not defamatory, obscene, or unlawful.

7.2. Hashtag Kalakar is not responsible for any infringement, claim, or dispute arising out of content submitted by participants. You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any such claims.

8. Hyperlinking to Our Website

8.1. Authorized organizations such as government agencies, search engines, and news organizations may link to our Website without prior written approval.
8.2. Other organizations must seek written permission before linking to our content.
8.3. Links should not be misleading or falsely suggest sponsorship or endorsement by Hashtag Kalakar.

10.4. Constructive criticism is welcomed if done respectfully and factually; however, malicious or false allegations will be legally actionable.

12.2. Any participant found violating competition guidelines, using abusive language, or engaging in harassment will be disqualified without refund.
12.3. Hashtag Kalakar reserves the right to reject or remove any submission that violates moral, legal, or editorial standards.

13. Refund Policy

13.1. The registration fee is non-refundable unless otherwise specified below.
13.2. A refund is issued only if the participant has made a valid submission and is not selected in the first round of evaluation.
13.3. No refund shall be processed:

• If the participant fails to submit their work,

• If the submission violates the rules,

• Or if the participant withdraws after submission.
  13.4. Refunds, if applicable, will be processed within 30 business days after the results of the first round are declared.
  13.5. Refund decisions made by Hashtag Kalakar are final and binding.

14. Publication and Media Rights

14.1. By participating, you agree that Hashtag Kalakar may use your submitted work for promotional, editorial, and marketing purposes.
14.2. We may republish or feature selected works in digital magazines, exhibitions, advertisements, or third-party collaborations.
14.3. You waive any claim for royalties, commissions, or future payments from such publications.
14.4. Once your work is published, you cannot request its removal.

15. Limitation of Liability

15.1. Hashtag Kalakar, its affiliates, and employees shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from participation, publication, or use of the Website.
15.2. We do not guarantee that the Website will always function without interruption or error.
15.3. We are not responsible for any technical failures, data loss, or server issues that may impact submissions or results.

16.1. We shall not be held responsible for any content appearing on participant websites or social media accounts.
16.2. Participants agree to defend, indemnify, and hold Hashtag Kalakar harmless against all claims arising out of their content or actions.

17. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Hashtag Kalakar, its employees, agents, and affiliates from any claims, liabilities, damages, or expenses arising out of:

If you want to get your content removed from the website, you will have to pay the content removal fees up to USD 100.
