Residency Location Allocation Policy
Residency cities are artist-choice driven.
During the application process, each applicant will be asked to select their preferred residency city from the available list.
How City Selection Works
• Artists choose their preferred city at the time of application
• City-wise applications are reviewed separately
• The residency program will be conducted in cities that receive the majority of selected participants
• If a higher number of selected artists choose a particular city, the residency will be organized in that city
In simple terms: the city is decided by the artists, not assigned randomly.
Important Clarification
• Not all listed cities may run simultaneously
• Final city activation depends on:
-
Number of selected artists opting for that city
-
Visa feasibility
-
Logistical viability
-
Program scheduling
If a chosen city does not reach the minimum required participants, the selected artist will be offered:
✔️ An alternative available city
✔️ Or the next residency cycle (If you choose not to attend after selection)
